Work Experience

umsiUniversity of Michigan School of Information Entrepreneurship Program March 2015-Present

I am currently working as a program assistant. I am developing a lexicon and program description which clearly describes the program goals, and positions it within the larger domains of entrepreneurship and information science. This “what” work will be used in the “how” tasks of promoting the program, tracking progress internally, and developing new programming which meets our goals and appeals to our students.

WID Washtenaw ID Project January 2015-May 2015

I worked with a team of students and recent graduated to redesign the Washtenaw ID Project website.  The original site had been made to support efforts to create a county-wide ID card, and after the bill passed the site needed an overhaul to serve it’s new user types: those seeking an ID, those deciding if they would accept an ID, and those looking to donate to a scholarship for those getting an ID. I created user flows and a site map for the redesign and advocated for user needs based on personas developed by the sponsoring agency.
